What a Wonder Week to be a Missionary

Dear Everyone,

This last week, and this coming week, and actually, every week is a great week to be a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the only true church on the face of the earth.
When was the last time that you consitered that profoundly.  Because a boy walked into some trees with a question, I live in Africa!  Joseph Smith after recieved many revelations, many of which are written in the Doctrine and Covenants, but almost always Joseph studied, had a doubt, and then approached the Lord with that question, and then recieved tons of revelations from Him.  Don´t be afraid to have questions, and when you study or go to church, or anything else, do so with a question in mind, and The Lord will enlighted your mind if you seek with faith.

This last week was full of miracles and progress and stuff like that.  The Lord never stops his work, so why do we?  Be a little more diligent, try to understand a little more, look within and act outward when you feel like you should look to the outside, and act inwardly.

This week we had a fantastic zone conference.  We are very blessed to have the mission president that we have and his wife.  It was great to see some old friends too, the assistants and the elders in Boa Vista, one of the other islands.

One of the miracles of this week happened with Irma.  Sister in Portugues is Irmã, and so Sister Irma is almost redundant when we say Irma Irmã.  Haha.  Her 3 youngest kids have been baptised recently, and they are amazing.  She started making it to church straight from work, and her oldest child who is a member is 20, and recieved the aaronic preisthood so he will be able to baptise her.  She will be baptised this week, because the 28th, the day she was set for the senior couple, the Demkes will be out of town, so we are doing it this week!  I am super excited.

I am out of time today, but please remember the blessings that you have, and reremember the ones that you need to and discover the ones you have never seen.

Love,
Elder Sampson
